Welcome to White Space Art

White Space Art was established in the heart of the market town of Totnes in 2003 by husband and wife, Jolyon White and Sarah Bowman.

The gallery exhibits a carefully curated range of work from emerging south-west and national artists.

Opening hours: 10am-5pm Closed Sunday [by appointment at other times]

Located in the beautiful South Hams region of Devon, Totnes neighbours the artistic community of Dartington and is a short journey from the A38 and the M5. London is an easy journey by train.

Once in Totnes, we're easy to find, situated just below the historic clock tower.

Paintings

We represent a great many southwest and national artists including: Louise Balaam RWA, Michael Bowman, Sarah Bowman, Vanessa Bowman, David Brayne RWS, Marilyn Browning, Ashton Chadwick, Stephanie Dees RSW and Matthew Draper.

Also, Joan Gillchrest, Angela Harding, Anna Howarth, June Launder, Wendy McBride, David Morgan, Sarah Poland, Donald Provan, Dawn Stacey, Richard Stanley, Katherine Swinfen Eady, James Tatum, Hannah Woodman and Fred Yates.

Prints

Prints from many artists including: Sarah Bowman, Kate Boxer, Susan Deakin, Angela Harding, Hetty Haxworth, Katty McMurray, David Pearce and Geoffrey Robinson.

Ceramics

Ceramic collections from national and local artists, including: Rachel Barker, Chris Barnes, Linda Bloomfield, Lorraine Ditchburn, Charlotte Jones, Chieko Kanaya, Abigail North and Kaori Tatebayashi.

Sculpture

We exhibit sculpture from many artists including: Virginia Day, Victor Stuart Graham, Mark Hall, Robert Race and Edward Willis.

Jewellery

Jewellery collections from local and national artists including: Chambers & Beau, Holly Belsher, Zoe Clough, Duibhne Gough, Yume Martin, Jane Mills and Georgia Stoneman.

As a participating gallery in the Arts Council's Own Art scheme, we can facilitate an interest free loan for the purchase of most of our artworks. Loans are available from £100 to £2000 [subject to status].
