Cottages South West is a small
company based in Shaldon, South Devon specialising in short term holiday lets.
Our aim is to offer you personal and efficient service at all times.
All of our properties, ranging from 
flats to picturesque cottages are personally inspected by us. Many of our properties
are old Fisherman's Cottages and although not necessarily luxurious, have a special
charm all of their own.
We have tried to descibe each property as fully as possible, but would be happy
to give you and further information you require on the property or surroundings.

Apart from the many attractions to be found in Shaldon &
Teignmouth, many other places of interest are to be found nearby including the
nature reserve at Dawlish Warren where there is an Interpretation Centre as well
as guided walks arranged throughout the year.
The historic 13th century town of Newton Abbot, with it's
famous race course, is but a ten minutes drive and has a cattle market every Wednesday
and a pannier market open daily.
A visit to nearby
Dartmoor National Park is a must with it's famous wild ponies, guided walks, pony
trekking, picturesque villages, such as the Uncle Tom Cobley Village of Widdecombe-In-The-Moor
with its renowned annual fair and lovely villages with thatched cottages such
as Buckland-In-The-Moor and Lustleigh. |
 Other
nearby places of interest to visit are the Abbey, Steam Railway and Butterfly
Farm at Buckfastleigh, the stately homes at Powderham Castle and Ugbrooke House,
the Rare Breads Farm, Miniature Pony Centre, Kents Cavern, Babbacombe Model Village,
Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway and many others.

Sporting activities abound including several first class golf
courses, good fishing including choice of game, course or sea fishing, various
water sports including surfing and water skiing and rambling, either with guided
walks on Dartmoor or by following the South West Coastal path which passes through
the area. For the occasional shopping trip or theatre visit Torbay, Plymouth and
Exeter are all within easy reach.
