Jenny Wren is a cosy 2 bedroomed Chalet bungalow on a small rural park with stunning views across the River Dart.

The bungalow is situated on the border of Torbay and South Hams in an 'area of outstanding natural beauty' but is close to local supermarket and town amenities.

There are many lovely walks locally and is excellent for dog owners and ramblers. Dog friendly village pub is just a 10 minute walk and serves good food.The ferry from the Quay runs all year and in the summer months there are river cruises to Dartmouth and Torquay.

Bungalow and Guest Facilities

  • Sleeps 3; lounge with TV (+ freeview), DVD and HiFi, open to kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box, toaster, washing machine.
  • 2 bedrooms (double and single), lounge/diner open to kitchen. Refitted shower room with electric shower.
  • Patio area with table at the front. Stunning views of River Dart and surrounding countryside.
  • It is very quiet and peaceful. There is a shop at the adjoining camp site.
  • Guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival to include a pint of milk, tea, coffee and sugar.
Parking & Transportation
Allocated parking space. Further parking available at bottom of site. Lots of buses run to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham from the main A3022 which is about 3/4 mile from bungalow. The steam train runs from Churston station to Paignton or Kingswear which is also 3/4 mile away.

  • Village of Galmpton with its character pub and local shops is 1/2 mile away.
  • Brixham 3 miles; Paignton 4.5 miles; Torquay 7 miles.
  • Paignton zoo 3.4 miles.
  • Beaches: Broadsands beach is 1.5 miles and Goodrington sands 2.7 miles.
  • The historic town of Dartmouth is just a few miles away courtesy of the Kingswear to Dartmouth ferry or via River Cruise from Greenway Quay.
  • Take a scenic walk from the bungalow past Greenway House, home of the late Agatha Christie, now owned by the National Trust, to Greenway Quay with its passenger ferry over to Dittisham village.
  • River trips run in the summer also.
  • There are golf courses close by; Churston Golf Club and Cayman Golf.
