Westcourt is a large Georgian house that has been tastefully convened into four flats plus "Flat 5", a separate building situated within the grounds. Westcourt is conveniently located (approximately half a mile) for Oddicombe and Babbacombe beaches, also near the Theatre and Downs, St Marychurch shopping precinct, Cary Park with tennis and bowling facilities and Torquay Golf Club. Westcourt is also within easy distance of Dartmoor, the cities of Plymouth and Exeter and even over the border into Cornwall. Within the grounds of Westcourt there is a pleasantly situated heated swimming pool (lOmts x 4,8mts) with a large paved surround and ample garden chairs and tables. There is also a lawn laid out for badminton and other games-plenty of room to sunbathe and to enjoy the peace of the garden. Beyond the swimming pool is a further lawn with a purpose built barbeque, and at the side of the house is a small children's play area with swings, slide and trampoline for under 10's.

FLAT 1 Max. 6 Persons. A large two bedroom self-contained flat situated on the first floor with its own exterior entrance door and consisting of; Entrance Hall-Separate toilet off- Large bedroom with double divan and two singles arranged as bunk beds, also with wash basin-Separate bathroom with bath and wash basin-Large lounge with comfortable 3 piece suite-Full size kitchen with dining area divided off the lounge-Second bedroom with two single beds and a wash basin.

FLAT 2 Max. 6 Persons. A large one bedroom self-contained flat situated on the first floor with its own exterior entrance door and consisting of-Entrance hall-Separate bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet-Lounge/Dining room with a 3 piece suite plus a sofa bed that converts into a double bed-Full size kitchen divided off the lounge-Bedroom with double divan and two single beds arranged as bunk beds also with a wash basin.

FLAT 4 Max. 6 Persons. A large one bedroom self-contained flat situated on the ground floor and consisting of; Large lounge with an easy chair and a sofa bed that converts into a double bed, also containing a dining area and open plan kitchen-Large bedroom with double divan and two single beds arranged as bunk beds and a two seater sofa-each room has an en suite shower room each having a shower, wash basin and toilet.

FLAT 5 Max. 4 Persons. A one bedroom self contained flat in a detached brick built building 5 metres from the main house and consisting of; Lounge/Dining room with easy chair and a sofa bed that converts into a double bed-Kitchen a small area divided off the lounge-Bedroom with two single beds-Shower room with shower, wash basin and toilet.

All of the flats are well equipped, each have:-

  • Ample Cutlery Crockery and Cooking utensils.
All bedding is supplied-sheets, pillow cases and duvets/covers. Cots are available free of charge (no cot bedding supplied). Electricity is by £1 slot meters. There are no restrictions on access to the flats. There is a laundry room with washing machine on site.

The swimming pool is available from May to September inclusive- You are reminded that pools can be dangerous and it is YOUR responsibility to supervise children and non-swimmers in your party, the pool is not supervised by Lifeguards.

Car parking for guests is free but limited to one car per flat unless by prior arrangement. Pets are welcome in Flats 4 and 5, but for the comfort of other guests must be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the general areas. Flats 1 and 2 are strictly no pets and are therefore suitable for guests with allergies to pet hairs. Supermarkets, Pubs, Chinese/Indian take aways. Fish and chip shops together with other shops are in either St Marychurch Road or St Marychurch Precinct, both areas are within approximately 440 yards. A regular local mini bus service is available to Torquay town centre and harbour, however the town centre is within a miles walk for the more active.
