Since the amalgamation of two small building firms of W.E.Gibbs (established in 1947) and E.R Lugg (established c. 1948), to form Gibbs & Lugg back in 1963, we have grown to become one of the best known family run construction companies in South Devon. This is purely because we always try to give our customers what they want and to the highest standard possible. It is our aim to meet customers needs and objectives.

Over the years we have been responsible for thousands of building projects, most of which have been carried out on behalf of local authorities, but we have also undertaken many contracts for private individuals and companies. Our work has encompassed all aspects of building taking in industrial, leisure, communication, education, commercial and general refurbishment together with new build.

Gibbs & Lugg is extremely proud of its loyal and dedicated staff, all of whom are qualified in their chosen skills. All our work is covered by the National House Building Council and the company is a Warranted Member of the Federation of Master Builders - which recognises and rewards those companies which demonstrate extremely high standards of workmanship.
