The Bahamas Hotel is a family run guest house hotel situated in the heart of Torquay, Devon. The hotel offers a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere for couples, families and the business traveller.

The Bahamas Hotel is ideally situated just a short level walk from Torquays’ main beach and promenade. A further ten minute walk along the promenade will bring you to the marina and main shopping area.

Closer still is the English Riviera Centre with its conference, sporting and leisure pool facilities.

The hotel offers a range of bedrooms from singles to family rooms.
All of the bedrooms at the Bahamas Hotel are light, airy and fully furnished to a high standard. The decorative style of our bedrooms range from the traditional to the contemporary.
All rooms contain:

Single Rooms
The hotel contains two single rooms, both being situated on the first floor. En-suite facilities include shower & bath in one room, with shower only in the other.

Double Rooms
The hotel contains five double rooms, two being situated on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The en-suite facilities in three of the rooms include shower & bath with one room containing shower only and one room containing bath only.

Twin Rooms
The hotel has two twin rooms, both being situated on the first floor. Both rooms' en-suite facilities include shower & bath.

Family Rooms
The Bahamas Hotel has two rooms that cater for families. One of the family rooms contains one double and one single bed whilst the other (a large front aspect room) contains one double bed, one single bed and a set of bunk beds. Both of the family rooms have ample space for a travel cot. The full en-suite facilities in one of the rooms include shower & bath with the other room including shower only.

Facilities
The Bahamas Hotel aims to provide all of its guests a relaxing and comfortable stay.
When not out discovering the delights of the English Riviera, guests can choose to spend time in our day lounge or alternatively enjoy a drink on our south facing patio.

The Bahamas Hotel is fully licensed (holding a 24 hr residents licence) and has a spacious bar lounge for the benefit of guests.

Breakfast is served in our separate dining room.

Location
Torquay is located in South Devon in the area of Torbay which, due to its temperate climate, is known as the English Riviera.

The most direct route from the Midlands and the North is along the M5 to its southern extremity at Exeter. From London and the Home Counties the two main routes are via the M4 to Bristol or the A303 to Exeter, in both cases linking up with the southbound M5.
