Welcome to Hotel Hudson

We are a non-smoking hotel offering bed and breakfast accommodation at reasonable prices throughout the year. Built in 1904 the hotel has been extensively and sympathetically refurbished in its centenary year, combining many of the original features with modern décor to give a traditional but contemporary look.

Situated just 250 metres from Torquay Harbour with its bustling array of shops, restaurants and bars Hotel Hudson provides 10 spacious, well appointed bedrooms (most with sea views) each having its own stylish shower room, TV/DVD and beverage facility.

As a fully licensed hotel we are able to provide a wide range of wines, beers and spirits for you to enjoy in our sizeable bar or while relaxing on our raised front patio, taking in the views across Torwood Gardens. Prices start at £25.00 per person per night.

PARKING
Car parking for 4 cars but free road parking opposite the hotel and a pay and display car park only a 2 minute walk away.

FOOD SERVICE
We serve breakfast between 8.00am and 9.00am starting with tea or coffee, fruit juice, toast, cereals and fresh fruit followed by your choice of full English or continental breakfast (special diets catered for).

HOTEL POLICY
Hotel Hudson is a no smoking hotel. The hotel does not have family rooms and we do not take children under 12 years of age. No pets. No single sex parties unless by prior arrangement with the hotel management.

THE AREA
A 2 minute walk from the hotel takes you to the harbour front with restaurants, bars and shops and a further 5 minutes walk takes you to the town centre with lots more shops, more bars and fast food outlets. The hotel is ideally situated for access to coastal walks, or perhaps you’d prefer a day trip to a nearby coastal town such as Paignton or Brixham either by road or taking a boat trip across the bay. Many more boating trips are on offer at the harbour from fishing to pleasure cruises, speed boats and jet skis or maybe you’d enjoy a ride on the steam train to Dartmouth and don’t forget the beauty of Dartmoor is just a short drive away.

DIRECTIONS
From the M5 take the A38 then the A380 In to Torquay follow signs for the harbour. At the clock tower turn left over traffic lights and Hotel Hudson is 200 mts on the left hand side.

Arriving by Train cross the road to the sea front and turn left walk around the harbour to the clock tower and turn left and the hotel is 200 mts on the right. Taxis are available from outside the station or by telephoning 01803 209209
