| Dear Customer, Maureen and I have owned Hanbury's (formerly known as the Babbacombe Fish & Chip Shop) since 1982. Building our restaurant has given us both immense pleasure and our customers' positive reaction to what we have done is very satisfying. Most of the restaurant is made from reclaimed timber, brick and stone 100 to 300 years old, which has helped to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We have on display many local photographs and postcards of historical interest and many other interesting items which we have collected from all over the country. We hope you will enjoy your visit to Hanbury's and will return again and again and again. - David & Maureen Hanbury. |
