| The Monks Retreat The building is listed as of outstanding architectural interest and dates from 1456. Originally called the Church House, it is said that a friendly ghost of a Monk inhabits the Inn. Here you will find cosy log fires in the winter and many interesting features, not least of which is the panelled oak screen, typical of many ancient Devon houses. We have now converted the oldest part of our bar into an intimate, cosy and non-smoking restaurant. Seating up to 40 persons, it is the ideal venue for small parties. Gift Vouchers |
